HISTORY

Born the youngest of twin girls to Frank and Nicole Morin on January 7th, of 1978. At the time that the girls were born, the couple didn't know that they were not identical since they looked so much alike. Though as they got older, their parents began to notice more and more things that told the girls apart besides their personalities. The first things to be noticed was the different shade of red hair as well as how Elodie had green eyes and Camilla had blue. It was shortly after they noticed those things that they learned the girls were not identical twins. It was something that their parents had a hard time believing at first because of the fact that the girls looked so similar to each other. However, they came to believe it more as years passed.

Elodie always felt that she had grown up in a normal kind of household, though when the girls were twelve they learned that their parents were getting divorced. It was shocking news to her and didn't make sense since, to her, they had seemed so happy. After the divorce the girls went to live with a different parent, Elodie had picked to go with her mom which ended up causing them to move to Seattle, WA. The move was tough for her since it meant seeing less of the other half of her family, but the summers and getting to see at least her sister every holiday seemed to help.

By the time Elodie was in high school, she was able to handle the distance more easily. It was while she was in high school that she decided she wanted to go to school for teaching. That decision had gotten her to become more focused on her studies than before. Which proved to be a good thing when she got the acceptance letters from some of the colleges she applied to. Though it was only three that she had to pick from, it made her parents proud that she had gotten into more than one. They had even asked Elodie many times which one she would be going to, but she didn't share her choice until it was close to her graduation when her whole family was together. Her parents seemed to be happy with her hearing that she had decided to go to the University of Washington, but she felt that there was a bit of her sister that was hoping she'd be going to one near her.

College life was full of Elodie focusing on her studies as well as having fun. Though she mostly found that fun by spending time with a fellow college student that she was dating named Jerome. He was different from the other two guys she had dated in her life and that was something that Elodie liked. She had come to love him and had felt that their relationship was one of those that was strong enough to handle just about anything. At least that was how she felt until the day that she told him the news about her being pregnant. For her, the news was happy and exciting, but also scary. Though it seemed to become scarier after Jerome had 'jumped ship' so to speak and left for more schooling.

The two had kept in contact after he had moved away and as it got closer to her due date she told him that she would like it if he was able to be there, but would understand if he was unable to make it. The whole thing had made her family skeptical about if he would come or not and on the day that she had gone into labor, she had felt that they truly thought he wouldn't show up. However, she had a different feeling and it was her feeling that ended up being proven right when Jerome had walked into her hospital room. While he was there, Elodie had noticed the looks that her family was giving him and had even ended up kicking them out of the room when she'd had enough of it. Once her family had left the room, the two had been able to talk about where they go from there. It wasn't an easy talk to have, but it was one that she knew needed to happen.

It was decided that day that Jerome would be known as her friend that her son would end up calling Uncle. Which was alright with her since it meant that her son would be able to have his father in his life. Though it didn't sit well with her family. Elodie knew they were not too keen on everything when it came to her son's father, but that was something she tried not to focus on. Instead, she focused on her son, on making sure that he had a good childhood and had the option to be apart of any activities that he wished to join. At times it was hard, but she was thankful to have her mom close as well as being able to call and talk with Jerome. Sometimes those calls ended up turning into either him sending something that would help out or on some occasions, a visit. However, contact with him changed around Phoenix's tenth birthday when Jerome had gone overseas.

When her son was in high school, the two moved to Las Vegas, NV. The move was one that happened for a few reasons, one of those was that she had received a job offer that was better than the one she had. Another was to be closer to all of her family now that her mom had moved back a year ago. Once there, she learned that it was through one of her parents that she had gotten the job offer, which had upset her at first, but she soon learned it was more of them watching out for her than anything. And that was something she appreciated. Besides, the move seemed to be a great one for her son. Which, to her, was the most important.

Her clothing is more on the professional side since she tends to shop for clothes that she can not only wear in her daily life but also at work. When relaxing, her clothes are usually some comfy shorts or pants and a shirt with an oversized cardigan sweater. He shoes consist of heels and flats along with some sneakers. Though for work she tends to wear heels more often than flats. Sleepwear for her is whichever pajamas she pulls from her dresser, but those are all either shorts or pants and a t-shirt.

PERSONALITY

Elodie comes off as kind, caring, focused, patient(with most things), and sweet which she is, but she is also determined, grounded, calm, loyal, and protective. Her family and those she cares about are the ones she happens to be most protective over. There have even been times when she had gone was her son likes to call as her Mama Bird mode when she gets a little too protective. At work, she is smiles and focused on helping the kids both in her class and at the school. Teaching is something she loves and enjoys, though she feels that being able to be a mom is one best things to have happen in her life.
