Birthday Present from Bren

Night One

[flower: Iris - Hope]
Jon/Daphne
“I still can’t believe Bren got you this.” Daphne was messing with the room key as she and Jon walked down the hall towards the room. “It’s how long he got it for that I’m still having trouble believing.” His tone had a hint of sadness to it when he spoke. His best friend stopping before turning to look at him. “What gives, JB? You should be ecstatic right now.” “I am.” “Bull shit. Do you not realize what your tone is saying?” One of his eyebrows raised at her question. “It says that you are sad about something. So what gives?” He looked away from her. “I feel bad about changing plans on you. We were supposed to go camping and,” Jon’s words had been cut off by the female covering his mouth. “Hold it right there, buddy.” Her hand moved so that she was holding his face in a way that covered his chin. “You wanted to drag me camping. I didn’t want to go.” His eyes widened as she released his face. “Wait, you didn’t?” He followed her as she started walking again. “Camping is fun and I like it, sure. But all you kept going on about was rock climb this and rock climb that. I get it, you like to climb rocks.” His head nodded as he listened to her. “And I don’t really like to. At least, not as much as you do.” “What the hell, DW? You sounded excited to go.” She stopped in front of a door and started trying the key. “I was excited to get to do something with you for your birthday.” He frowned a little. “What about now?”

She made a sound that he knew meant she had gotten the door open before he’d seen her open it. “Now I’m more excited. This place has ten pools. Ten!” She held up her hands as she walked backwards into the room. “And you’re planning to swim in all ten of them, aren’t you?” He followed her into the room as they continued talking. “You bet your finally spoke his feelings ass I am.” He narrowed his eyes at her as she walked around the room. Since he had told her about his talk with the alpha, she had been continuously pointing out about how he had finally spoke his feelings. “Can you stop pointing that out?” “Nope. Not gonna happen JB.” He heard her laughing as he set his bag down. His blue eyes staring at it as his mind thought to their drive from the pack house to his place and then to the hotel. He was still in shock that this was happening, that everyone had agreed to it. Even Daphne seemed fine with it, though now he knew it was probably because of the ten pools. He stuck his hands out in front of him and mimicked her when she had told him about how many pools the hotel had. What was so great about ten different pools? And why the hell was that seeming to be more important to her than the fact that he had basically cancelled their plans and switched to new ones. Ones that involved him sharing a room with the alpha. His eyes glanced at the part of the room that had the bed in it as his mind wondered if they’d actually share the bed that night or not.

“Uh, JB… Have you looked around yet? Like really looked around?” He heard her voice calling out to him before she entered his eyesight as she walked out to the bedroom. “No why?” She held up what one could easily tell was some supplies for the two men. “You may want to. Unless you want him to feel some pressure about getting in your pants.” She moved the items in her hands in a way that Jon knew she was trying to tease him about the fact that such things were out for people to see. Jon’s eyes widened before he started looking around, blue hues falling on the banner that read ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY - GET IT BRUH’. “Oh jeez, Daph, you gotta help me find every one of those.” He pointed to the items she was holding as he continued. “Before he or they get here.” She nodded her head as she gave a small laugh about the panic she could hear in his voice, which had caused him to narrow his eyes at her before the two started searching the room. It took less time than it would have if it was only Jon searching, but it didn’t stop him from feeling a small worry that the others would show up during it. And once finished, he turned to look at the banner. “Now help me with this.” “Not happening.” His head turned to look at her. “What you mean not happening?” Daphne crossed her arms. “It’s just a sign, JB. I don’t think he’ll be uncomfortable about a silly sign that Bren most likely put up.” She looked at him. “Besides we already hid all the supplies,” She uncrossed her arms to put air quotes around the word supplies. “We could find in my bag. Which honestly we probably didn’t need to do since you’ll need that stuff if something does happen.” She looked at him and saw that he was already trying to get the sign down. “Damn it, Jonathan.”

Daphne’s eyes narrowed as she walked over to him and smacked his arm. “Leave the damn sign alone.” “I can’t, DW.” He moved to grab a chair and pulled it over before climbing on it to get the banner down. “What if he sees this and it changes his mind about staying here with me.” He started to pull the sign down as she hit his leg. “It’s a sign with happy birthday on it not something like give it to him good, daddy.” A blush came to Jon’s face as he looked at her before she started laughing. “Seriously sometimes you make it so easy to mess with you.” His eyes narrowed at her. “Just help me get the sign down.” “No.” She crossed her arms and stepped away from him. “I like the sign. So it should stay.” “DW please before they knock on the door.” She looked away from him as she spoke. “Technically they won’t knock. I gave Nic the other key that was with the one we used.” He got down from the chair and walked over to her. “You what?” “I gave Nic the spare room key so they’ll probably just come right in.” “You’re joking right?” He watched her shake her head no before grabbing her and lifting her up to take her over to the chair. “Now you have to help me take it down.” “No, I don’t.” She hit his arm after he put her in the chair then pointed to the sign. “Bren had that sign made and paid for this room when he could have done nothing for either of you after locking you two in that pantry.” She was using that voice that he figured was her lawyer voice as she spoke to him. “So the damn sign is staying up there.”

Seb/Nic
It had taken a lot of convincing on everyone’s part to get Sebastian to agree to staying four nights with Jonathan in a hotel room. A rather large one, but a hotel room all the same. The events of the day earlier that night had been quite a large undertaking and this only added to that. Not only had those feelings been confessed after being locked in a small space together, his own had come out as well. The talk outside had really helped, being able to have that moment had meant quite a bit to the older wolf. It was also, however, overwhelming for him. Seb hadn’t had to feel anything for another person like this in a long time and he liked it that way. It was clean and easy. It didn’t lend to distractions from the pack and what they needed from him but Bren had been right. He was allowed to have feelings. Feelings past what was his duty to the pack, which he had said something along those lines to Jon. If he got into a relationship with him, it would be for himself. Something done for himself, and himself alone? It was an odd feeling.

He’d let Nic drive, the blonde chattering away at him the whole time. There wasn’t any surprise that she was okay with all of this, she was one of the people that had been behind it the whole time. As soon as she had known, she had shipped it in her heart. Sebastian listened idly, but he was nervous. What did Bren expect from all of this? What did Jon expect from this? He had just agreed to try at this relationship not six hours before and now he was being driven to the Venetian to spend the rest of the week and weekend with him. Part of him was still unsure as to why he’d done this but, it was for the future, right? It would either make or break his decision. But… did he want to change his mind? No. That was only the pressure talking, he knew that.

“Sebby, are you listening?” Turning away from the bright lights of the Strip, the alpha looked over. “What?” An aggravated sigh followed by a laugh. “Don’t be nervous, your play date will be fine. Daphne and I will be next door.” A scowl was the only answer he gave as he turned back away, his mate laughing again like she couldn’t breathe. Yes, hilarious. He was quiet the whole way up the elevator, the new room key in his hand as Nic had the other in her’s. One room for Seb and Jon, one for Nic and Daphne. It was the only way this would work, if people thought they were just doing a mini vacation next to each other. It was almost sad, yes, but it was how it had to work for now. He was a mated man, after all. It didn’t matter that they weren’t in love, that she was pushing this harder than he was right now. “Alright, let’s just go meet up with them and then I’ll get settled next door.”

When the door opened, there was a moment where all seemed to pause. Daphne was standing on a chair almost yelling at Jon and Jon was desperately talking back to her. All about a… banner? Dark eyes slid up to see a banner with the words ‘happy birthday - get it bruh’ in all caps. Only one person could have made that sign and his name started with a B and ended with an N, no matter how you spelled it. Stepping in front of a giggling Nic, Sebastian tried not to laugh himself. The nerves made that a bit harder but he was trying. “You should leave it, Jonathan.”

Jon/Daphne
“No, it should come down.” “Don’t make me kick your ass again, Jonathan Bishop.” She put her hands on her hips as she spoke those words and added. “You know that I can so the sign is fucking staying.” She was glaring at him and still using that tone, only now her voice was becoming slightly louder. “Daph, come on. Just help me get it down.” She crossed her arms. “No. I already helped with-“ Her words were stopped when she had heard giggling before the both of them heard the alpha’s voice. Blue hues looking over at the two who had entered while he’d been distracted by the sign. His eyes widening slightly as his mind in a way thanked some higher thing that Daphne hadn’t been able to finish those words. “Uh JB, how about you be nice and help your pal down?” He heard her words, but his eyes, his mind was distracted, no, it was focusing. Focusing on how the other male was actually there and standing in the room. The room that they’d be sharing. A faint blush slowly started to come to his cheeks before he felt his best friend hit the back of his head.

His eyes shifting to her as one of his hands went to his head. “What the hell, DW?” “Help me down mister I finally con-“ “Shut up Daphne.” He cut off her words before she could finish saying them. He knew what she was going to say and he didn’t think the others needed to hear her tease him like that. Especially not Sebastian. Who he was pretty sure he had just been staring at. As he helped the short haired female down, his eyes pleaded with her to hold off on even trying to do anymore teasing before he moved to put the chair away. Daphne laughed lightly as she clapped her hands together. “Well now that you guys are here, I can steal Nic and we can have some fun girl time.” Jon looked at her as he felt the nerves rise inside of him, his wolf telling him that she could leave. “Oh don’t look at me like that, Jon. Sebastian is here now so your um,” She looked between the two men when she paused. “Your play date can begin.” She smiled as she said the last few words in a teasing tone while Jon stared at her. He could tell that she wanted to giggle about her words, though she was doing her best to hold it in. Which he appreciated, even though all her words seemed to do was raise his nerves more.

“You ready to check out the room we’ll be sharing, Nic?” Jon watched his best friend grab her bag and start to walk towards the blonde before he grabbed her arm. “The pools.” Daphne looked at him with a raised eyebrow. “Weren’t you just saying how you wanted to go to one.” She sighed before pulling her arm away. “We can go tomorrow. When it’s daylight. That way I can work on my tan.” She smiled and patted his check as she whispered. “You’ll be fine. Just be your cute self and if things seem weird or whatever then take off your shirt or sing.” She gave his shirt a small tug before winking at him and walking over to the blonde. Blue hues watched the two girls before shifting over to the alpha. Crap. He was about to be left alone in the room so that it was just the other male and him. Swallowing as he felt his wolf start to get that feeling it had when they’d sat in the open field with their hands touching. Though he was feeling himself get more nervous. What might happen that night? Was Sebastian expecting something to happen? Was Sebastian thinking that he was expecting something to happen? He knew that he wouldn’t pressure the other, but part of him felt like there was already some pressure happening to the both of them.

Seb/Nic
Seb watched without moving any further as the two talked to each other, distantly aware that Nic was still laughing behind him. The corner of his mouth did twitch when Jon was hit in the back of the head for staring and not paying attention to Daphne. He appreciated it, the focus. It put him at ease, somehow. “Oh! That’s exactly what I said!” Nic finally spoke up, stepping up so she was next to Sebastian, grinning at Daphne. If he didn’t know any better, the two seemed to be on the same page here, as if it was all planned somehow. Was Jon’s best friend the other person who had been watching at the window? If they had talked before this, it would make sense. Part of him was glad the two ladies were going to leave them alone but there was also a part of him that was nervous. Almost as if he were going to turn to Nic and ask her not to leave. Or say they should all go to dinner. Or something. That, though, would only be delaying the inevitable. The two men would be alone together. With a large room, a large bed and a large tub.

With his ears, he could hear the edge of their conversation, it wasn’t like they were very far away, but he straightened, shoulders back a bit. He wasn’t the only nervous one. That put him back in ease, he could feel his body starting to loosen up a bit. He’d been tense but hadn’t realized it. Take his… shirt off or sing? That was interesting. Instead of looking directly at Jon when Daphne started over towards him and Nic, he watched her then turned to his mate, immediately getting a look of ‘don’t you fucking dare try anything.’ Well. He hadn’t been about to ask her to take him with them but he didn’t say anything. It was the point of the look, for him not to.

It wasn’t long before the shorter haired woman reached them, both of them grinning before Nic leaned in and kissed his temple, stretching up just a tiny bit to do it. “You’ll be fine, you big baby.” If it had been anyone else saying that, Sebastian probably would have been a little peeved but all she got was a small nod before they left the room, giggling and chatting together. Hmm. He definitely didn’t like that. His eyes stayed on the door for a moment before he turned back towards Jonathan, taking him in. It hadn’t been long since they’d seen each other at the house, maybe an hour or two, but it was still new. There had been a new light to the younger man and he had to take that into account. It wasn’t everyday that someone confessed their feelings for you and you felt something towards them in return. It might not be love, yet, but he could feel a small flutter in his chest at the sight of those blue eyes.

What was he supposed to do here? “Jonathan.” Setting his bag down on the sofa near the door, he moved past the entry way, over to where he and that silly banner was. Did he touch him? Stopping only a foot away, he felt like laughing at himself. With a sigh, he closed that distance, arms slipping around the other in a tight hug. They didn’t have eyes on them. The girls were gone doing who knew what, Sebastian was allowed to touch Jon now. More than a hidden finger twisting, more than a hidden hand hold or a quick kiss to the forehead to show affection for one of his wolves. Speaking of wolves, his own was curled up and happy at the contact.

Jon
His eyes had seen Nic give the other male the kiss on his temple and though there was still some of that jealousy inside of him, Jon could feel that it was less. Even his wolf hadn’t snarled at witnessing the small show of affection. Maybe it was because he knew the secret now. Knew how it was duty not love. It was something he could respect, no, he did respect it. It showed that the other male cared more about the pack than even he had known. More than Daphne had expressed when she had talked about the alpha after he had arrived in Vegas before he’d first met him as well as before he’d agreed to accept Jon into the pack. What would his life be like if he had stayed in New York back then? If he hadn’t fell for his best friend’s convincing? If he hadn’t missed being part of a pack as much as he had? Part of him had a feeling of what he’d be doing since he was still doing some of those things. Work and take out. The other stuff though, that was different. Jon had stuck to doing certain things, to certain rules. However, when he had been trying to hide, trying to stop his feelings, he’d broken some of those rules. Rules that he now knew he wouldn’t break again. Not with what had happened earlier that day.

He was still surprised that he had confessed to the other male, but there was also a certain kind of joy inside of him over the fact that the alpha knew. That the man had heard him say the words, heard him say what he’d been feeling as well as hiding. He didn’t have to hide anymore though. At least not when it was just the two of them. Which is what it was once the door had closed behind the girls. Jon didn’t think much on how the girls had left chatting and giggling, though that could have been because his eyes were on the male already. And when Sebastian had looked at him, he felt himself tense slightly as well as felt his heart squeeze. His wolf could tell the look was different, part of Jon knew that it would be. He’d thought about how the alpha would look at him once he had learned about his feelings. Some of those thoughts had had looks of confusion, of disgust, and even no looks all together. However, some had had looks of curiosity, of a level of happiness, of some level of relief that he wasn’t the only one, and looks that could be similar to the one the other was giving him at that moment. Though even with those, they didn’t compare to an actual real one. Maybe that was why his lips had started to form a smile while his eyes watched the man looking at him.

More of that smile formed when he heard Sebastian say his name as he watched the man come closer to him. Was he supposed to touch him first? Would it be weird if he reached out for the other man before they were close to one another? Should he wait until the male had reached out for him? He wasn’t sure, though that hadn’t stopped one of his arms from moving slightly when the older wolf was just a foot away from him. Blue hues looking the other’s face over as his mind wondered what to do. He knew what he wanted to do, what his wolf wanted him to do, but he also didn’t want to do something the other male wasn’t ready for. Sure, the alpha had told him that he could express his feelings when he liked, but did that also include when he liked to touch him? Jon swallowed lightly as his fingers extended out towards the alpha before he stopped the movement. Maybe he should wait, wait and let the other take the lead. He knew he was fine with that, knew he could handle waiting since he had basically, in a weird sense, been waiting to confess. However, it seemed that he wouldn’t have to wait for long after he had heard the other man sigh.

His eyes widening slightly as he felt those arms go around him in a tight hug. His own arms going around the other man to return it a few seconds after. He could feel his wolf’s excitement, feel his own for there not being a long wait. For them being able to hug, to touch without worry of being careful or of being watched. His head turned a little as it went to the man’s shoulder, eyes closing briefly as he breathed the older wolf’s scent in. “Would you find it weird if I admitted right now that I missed you?” His arms tightening slightly as he spoke those words.

Sebastian
His arms were tight around Jon and he didn’t know if or when he would let go. It felt nice. Felt comfortable and right. Better now that he didn’t have to worry about people were watching them, would start rumors of him cheating on Nic. They could be relentless when it came to rumors, even people in his own pack. He did everything in a cautious way, even in his own house when it wasn’t just the usual people. Eddie had been really good at sniffing out who was saying things but without that resource, Sebastian was on his own. Until he found someone that could do the same thing, anyway. For now, he didn’t have to think about any of that at all. He was finally holding Jon… Not that he had thought about it until a few hours ago but still.

“A little, but that’s alright.” There was a small scoff from the alpha before he leaned back, a little, his arms not leaving. The two had only been apart for less than two hours, but he supposed he could understand it. He’d done the same thing with his son. Missed him after going on a run. There was even a hint of tease in his voice, one hand coming up to cup the back of the other man’s head, keeping him close to his shoulder. He wanted to pull him away but the posture was one he enjoyed. Keeping Jon against his neck, holding him. There was, however, something he really wanted to do.

With another little sigh, he tilted his head to the side and pressed his lips to the side of Jon’s face, at the edge of his hairline. Fingers tangled in the back, feeling just how soft the brown strands were. “Do you want to go sit down?” He would tour the place later but, he wanted to sit with the blue eyed man, get more comfortable with being alone with him in a way that was probably expected to be sexual at some point. He was surprised, with who had set this up, that the banner was the only thing in sight. He wasn’t sure about actual sex but he probably wouldn’t stop it if it went that way. Four nights was a long time to stay in a room with someone. Did Jon have to go to work? He’d ask later. The nerves would get him if he thought about this any longer.

Jon
His smile widened some at hearing the man’s words, his eyes opening when the other moved a little. Jon knew that his words could seem odd since it was new, for not just Sebastian, but him as well. The only other person he had told that he missed had been his brother and Daphne. Though in that moment, it had only been one person that he’d felt such a feeling about. And the fact that he had in a way said that he had, made him feel more joy about the man knowing the truth. Part of him wondered why he hadn’t said something sooner? Why he had chickened out like he had at the other man’s birthday? Would things be different if he had said something then? Would they be hugging at this moment? He didn’t know, nor did he think about it since he knew they were questions that he didn’t actually need to think about. Thinking on them wouldn’t change how things had come to be. Nor would it change what was happening at that moment. It wouldn’t stop him from feeling comfortable, from liking how it felt being hugged by Sebastian, from how it felt right to have the older wolf’s arms around him. Which was more than he had thought it would be, more than his wolf had got him to believe during moments when it yelled at him about touching the other. Jon knew his wolf had known before him, that that part of him was more intune with how he felt towards the other man. Maybe it had even played a part in those dreams he’d had with the alpha in them.

Feeling that hand on the back of his head had caused his eyes to close again. Yeah, this was nice, was right. His hands flattened more on the other’s back as his lips parted slightly to release a breath. He was enjoying the hug and part of him didn’t want it to stop. Especially after he had felt those lips against the side of his face. The blush he had had before was almost gone, but he knew that it wouldn’t be gone for long. Not with being around the older male. His eyes opening after he heard the man’s question, his smile fading some as he shook his head a little against the man’s shoulder. “No, but we can.” He knew sitting down would mean the hug would end, the feeling of the other’s arms around him wouldn’t be there anymore. That Sebastian’s hand wouldn’t be on his head and feeling his hair. A thought about how the other’s hair would feel between his own fingers came to his mind as his arms tightened some before he lifted his head up from the male’s shoulder.

Leaning back a little, his arms staying around the alpha as his eyes looked at Sebastian. Blues hues looking the man’s face over before going to those dark hues. How long had it been that he’d stopped himself from looking at this man, from trying to not look at him a certain way? Jon knew how long it was, knew that it’d been months. However, he also now knew that when it was just them, like how it was at that moment, that he didn’t have to stop from looking. That he wouldn’t have to hide any looks or stares. He felt his heart race a little as he smiled, a hint of happiness entering his eyes before his lips parted. “Couch?” Jon’s hands moved slightly as his arms loosened when he spoke the word. He knew he didn’t want the hug to end, but he also knew that he didn’t want to force or even pressure the man in anyway. It was knowing that that had caused him to get Daphne to help him hide the supplies that had been placed about the room. Supplies that he was pretty sure he’d gotten all hidden away in the woman’s bag before they had gotten there. Though what if those things ended up being needed later? What if things lead to them being sexual that night? Would he stop it? No, but if Sebastian did then he wouldn’t do something to get the older wolf to not stop. Besides no one was saying that things needed to be rushed, not when they’d be at the hotel for four nights.

Sebastian
It was almost cute that Jon didn’t want to let go but this was the first time they’d been able to fully touch with Sebastian knowing how he felt. With Seb trying to return them. The younger wolf had had to wait so long, had to hold himself back, had kept away from being close to the alpha just in case. How had he done it without going crazy? He’d never understand it, would probably never need to. It almost bothered him that he couldn’t understand how one of his wolves felt but he’d have to deal with it. He couldn’t relate to everyone in his pack, not a hundred percent of the time. He could protect them, be their shield, but he wouldn’t know their feelings all the time.

Raising a hand after Jon pulled away to look at him, Seb cupped the younger man’s face, thumb brushing over his lips like it had a few hours ago. He could kiss him, looking like that, but the question of where they should sit came up instead, a slight smile making the side of his mouth slide up a bit. His arms were already loosening, signaling he was ready to let go, and Sebastian dropped his own arms, pulling away from Jon to lead him over to the couch, his fingers sliding easily into the other man’s. There probably wouldn’t be any kind of end to the thrill it was to be able to hold his hand, his fingers tight as he pulled him along, heading back to where his bag was not too far away from them.

Sitting was a quick fall, pulling on their entwined fingers so that he could pull Jon down with him. He could have insisted, if he were more confident in this, that Jon sit right on his lap so he could hold him, but he would let him sit where he wanted. He didn’t even let his eyes get distracted, simply looking up at the other man while wondering where he was going to sit. They could watch a movie, could just sit there in silence, but he itched to touch him again. This was weird for him. Just earlier that day, he had been avoiding everything, avoiding how he felt, but now… it was like something had been unplugged and he’d made a one eighty. People didn’t usually do this, did they? He didn’t know. “Jonathan.” There was a lower tone, an almost gravel to it.

Jon
Blue eyes stayed on the male as the hand moved to cup his face, his head pressing against it slightly. The feeling of Sebastian touch was one that he both liked being able to finally feel as well as made him want to feel more of it. Jon’s lips had even come to part once that thumb brushed over them like it had some hours ago. Crap. He could feel a want to be kissed, to share a kiss with the other male rise inside of him. And for a moment he wished that he hadn’t said something about where they could sit. If he hadn’t then would a kiss have been shared? He didn’t know, but the fact that there was a chance of one happening that night caused his smile to widen slightly. However, when he felt the man’s arms drop, his own tightened a little as some of his smile faded. He knew his own had loosened first, but now that it was clear the hug would be ending, he felt himself not want it to. He was enjoying the hug, the touch, but now that it was gone, he seemed to only want to have it back. Which happened seconds after his arms had dropped when the other had pulled away.

His fingers sliding together with the alpha’s before tightening slightly as the man led him to the couch, some of his smile slowly returning at the feel of holding hands with Sebastian. He had a feeling that there wouldn’t be a stop to wanting to feel the other male’s touch or being able to touch the man. He also had a feeling that such a want could be hard to ignore when it wasn’t just the two of them, but he didn’t have to ignore it now. Which caused him to feel more happiness inside of him as he watched the other sit down, a pull being done to their fingers when it happened. His eyes glancing at the couch as his mind wondered where he should sit. He knew that if he knew it was alright, if the other would like for him to, then he would just sit in Sebastian’s lap and wrap his arms around the other’s neck. Or even sit before moving to lay his head in the man’s lap. However, he didn’t know it he could or if the man would want that. He knew this was new, was even slightly unknown since before they had just been alpha and pack member, but it was different now. The older wolf knew how he felt, knew how he’d been feeling at certain times in the past. Hell, the man even knew how he’d almost told him how he felt almost a month ago.

Fingers tightened as his eyes stopped glancing and went back to look at the male before his wolf told him to sit next to him. Which Jon did. Eyes staying on the other as he sat next to Sebastian with just a few centimeters between them. Swallowing lightly when he heard the man say his name in that low tone, his mind wondering what might happen next. He knew what he’d like to happen, something that he had been wanting on different levels since they were sitting in that open field. Should he ask for one? Would it be weird to? He knew that he already figured he’d be fine with the male taking the lead so that nothing happened before Sebastian was ready for it, but would it be okay for him to ask for even just a small kiss? Blue hues glanced briefly at the alpha’s lips as his mind told him to wait. His hand giving the other’s a squeeze as his lips parted. “Sebastian.” His tone was soft and mixed with a faint hint of want. Want for their hands to stay together, for more of a touch, for some kind of a kiss.

Sebastian
The simplest little motions from Jon caught the alpha’s attention now that he was actually looking for them, that parting of his lips, the blushes, the way he looked at him. Honestly. How the hell had he not noticed. No wonder Nic had told him he was an idiot for not seeing it. He'd been blind to this. If they hadn't moved to the couch, he might have used his hold on Jon’s face. He would have other opportunities, they were there for four nights and days. His nerves started to come up again but he squished them. Alpha’s didn't get emotional. At least, Sebastian held onto the thought that they didn't. They were in charge, fearless leaders. They shouldn't be getting nervous over a new relationship. An extremely new relationship. He could do this.

When the younger man didn't immediately cuddle into his side, he was a touch disappointed but he was close. They were still holding hands. His mind was going through a hundred possibilities when Jon spoke, saying his name in a way he had never heard before. Had anyone said his name that way? Maybe she had, he couldn't quite remember. He wouldn’t ever forget her but some of the little details were starting to fade. Part of him wanted to ask him to say it again, just like he just had, but he wasn’t sure if it was a good idea. Instead, he smiled, actually smiled. Normally, only Nic, Max, Bren or Eddie was able to make him do it, but Jon was added to that list now.

“Do you want to watch a movie?” The question was asked as he gently tugged on their still joined hands, not only pulling Jon closer, but down, his upper body landing across his legs and lap. “I made sure to switch everything for our rooms to my card.” Sebastian’s free hand came from his side, brushing the hair away from Jon’s face and back, almost petting him. He had questions but was almost afraid to ask. There would be time. They had time to get to know each other. He knew the younger man but he didn’t know him.

Jon
After he had sat down, part of him wondered if he should have been closer or even if he should have sat a little bit more away from the other. He knew that he had a habit of resting his head on someone’s lap, though it had been mainly Daphne whose lap he had rested on. Especially in the last couple months. Yet, his mind seemed to be wondering what it would be like to have his head rest in the other man’s lap. However, that wonder seemed to halt when he saw the other male smile. His heart almost fully skipping a beat as he licked his lips lightly. He wasn’t sure what it was that had caused the other male to smile, but he didn’t care at the moment because his eyes were to busy being focused on Sebastian’s smile. A thought of wishing he could take a picture of it with his phone came to his mind before his eyes moved from the man’s lips to those dark hues. His body moving slightly towards the other wolf as he felt that want for a kiss rise inside him again. His lips parting some as he was told to ask for one by both himself and his wolf, but it was the older wolf speaking that had caused his words to stop before they even started.

A small pout appearing on his lips for a brief moment before he responded to the man. “Sure. What mov-“ His words had been cut off when there was the tug to their joined hands. His arm moving in a way so that their hands stayed joined together as his upper back landed on the man’s legs and lap when he was pulled down. Blue hues looking up at the alpha as he stayed still, not even moving to close his lips that had parted while he was speaking. A faint blush coming to his cheeks as his mind wondered if the other was able to somehow sense or something that he had wanted to lay on his lap. Sure, he’d wanted to rest his head there, but this position, the one that Sebastian’s tug had pulled him to, was one that he was fine with. Especially since he was not only still able to see the other male, but their hands were still intertwined just now they were on his chest.

His head turning slightly toward the other while his hair was moved from his face, his ears listening to the words about their rooms being switched to his card. A small laughing coming from Jon before he spoke. “So no doing a big room service charge for him to pay as pay back for locking us in the pantry?” His free hand moved towards the older wolf’s face before the back of his fingers brushed against his cheek. “I’m sorry you had to be in there for as long as you did. But,” Jon eyes looked at the dark ones of the alpha’s. “I’m glad we were locked in there. Because I don’t know if I would have told you the truth if they hadn’t done that.” His fingers brushed the man’s cheek again before his hand moved to the man’s arm, fingers resting on the other’s bicep. “I’m also sorry that it took someone else doing something like that to get me to tell you, Sebastian.” His tone was soft like it had been when he’d said the man’s name some moments ago, though this time the hint of want was not there. At least it hadn’t been until he was halfway into saying the older male’s name.

Sebastian
Sebastian almost laughed at Jon’s reaction to being pulled down, a mix of shock and thrill. The blush only added to it. They were tip toeing around each other and while it was frustrating that he didn’t know how to lead here, it was cute at the same time. If this was Nic, he’d know what to do, what to say. He waited for the other to calm and relax, that smile back for a moment, watching those blue eyes seek him out again. It was comfortable, this position. Jon resting in his lap, hands twined together on the younger man’s chest, hand carding through his hair in a calming, almost petting way. He could see him doing this often, whenever either of them needed the attention. The overall feeling of calm. An alpha’s life wasn’t easy but this? This could make it almost that. Little things like this. What was he even thinking of? He was going head first into all of this, and his wolf was going to shove him off the cliff. Had he said he didn’t know his own feelings?

“He already paid for the room, before knowing how their pantry trick was going to work. The…” He paused, face serious for a moment before he shook his head. “The least I can do to pay him back is the rest of the bill. Just don’t tell him I went easy.” There was a little laugh after that, his body relaxing further into the couch underneath them. Seb could have tensed at the mention of him being locked in there as long as he had been but the fingers to his face stopped him, making him watch Jon talk in silence. “I’m sorry too.” It was quiet, almost not there but he knew Jon heard him. “You didn’t know that Nic and I weren’t involved in that way. You believed the smoke screen like everyone else did.” Except those that actually lived in the house, of course. They had been in the know. Max and Bren were too smart for their own good sometimes and this whole thing only proved that further.

“I don’t want to talk about it anymore. We are here, trying to see where this can go.” It wouldn’t be a hundred percent in either way when they left here on Sunday but it would go a long way to helping. What if Jon had been wrong about his feelings? Wolves seemed to know what was best for themselves and his was centered on the younger one right now. There was still the chance, though, that either of them would change their minds. In that case… there was at least one thing he had to do before that had the chance to happen. Propping his legs up a little, he bend down, using the hand that was petting his hair to hold his face. “I don’t want to watch a movie, Jonathan.”

Without saying anything else, he leaned down further, laying a chaste kiss against the side of Jon’s nose, his cheek, the very corner of his lips then finally, finally, his lips brushed over the other man’s. It was just a test, to see how it would feel for his lips to even be near Jon’s, but he found himself wanting a little more. Pulling away a little, he looked down into those blue eyes before moving again, pressing their lips together more firmly, finally kissing him like he’d wanted to in that field. He had been sure he was going to ruin it, time and time again. It felt… like it was supposed to be. Sparks.

Jon
“I won’t, but maybe you should have waited until after breakfast in the morning.” He sighed a little as his mind thought about how they could have ordered a bunch of food that the omega would have had to pay for. A light laugh coming from him as a thought of just how many orders of pancakes he could have made came to his mind. Wait, the fact that the cards being switched didn’t mean that he couldn’t order pancakes, right? Maybe he should ask the other along with some of the other questions that he knew could and probably would be asked at some point during their little getaway. A getaway that he had a feeling was going to cause some changes in not only his life, but a few others depending one how things went.

He felt his body relax more as the seconds passed by, his eyes looking up at the man except for a moment when he shook his head. “You don’t need to be sorry about that. Like you said the fact I believed it just meant that the smoke screen works. Though I feel bad now for some of the anger that I felt.” His smile faded as he thought for a moment about that anger before pushing it aside. His fingers tightening slightly on the man’s bicep. “After I learned the truth about that, it made me not only respect you more, but also fall for you more.” His fingers squeezed the other’s as he continued. “You care about your pack and the future of it more than the last born alpha I knew.” His thoughts flashed to Russia as he closed his eyes briefly. He didn’t need to think about that, about what had happened those years ago. Swallowing a little as his eyes opened again and looked up at the man, a small smile coming to his lips. “If there was awards for best alpha then you would have my vote, Sebastian.” His smile widened a little more as a small laugh came from him as he added. “And I’m not just saying that because I’m in love with you.”

His head nodded against the man’s lap after hearing him say that he didn’t want to talk about it anymore. Jon was okay with that, especially since it had seemed like talking on it had almost made him go down a memory lane that he didn’t need to go down. The other male had already witnessed him cry when he had been an emotional mess earlier in the pantry so he figured that the alpha didn’t need to witness more tears come from him. Which meant no thoughts of Russia or his old pack. His wolf told him then to focus on the man as his thumb moved a little against the man’s arm. He knew he could focus on the other since he didn’t need to stop himself like he had when he’d been trying to hide his feelings from the older wolf. Part of him was still being cautious though when it came to fully expressing his feelings for the other male, though he had a feeling that was because he didn’t want to do anything that may force or pressure the older man. Maybe that was why a small part of him was okay with the fact that he hadn’t been able to ask for a kiss from the alpha.

However, that didn’t mean that the want for one was gone, in fact, it raised some when the man’s legs moved up and Sebastian had bent towards him. Was the other male in someway sensing that he wanted a kiss like how he had wanted to rest on the alpha’s lap? Or was he simple just bending over some? Jon didn’t know and the man’s words didn’t seem to help as one of his eyebrows raised slightly. “Are you sure? We can watch one. It can even be a scary one as long as you don’t mi-“ His words halted once he felt that simple kiss before the brush of Sebastian’s lips over his own. His eyes widening a little before his blue hues looked into dark ones. His breathing seemed to have paused while his heart raced some as he waited those few seconds before finally those lips pressed against his own. A small whimper coming from him as both of his hands tightened. His eyes closing as he returned the kiss while he felt his wolf have that excitement again that it had had earlier in the field.

Sebastian
“You can still order whatever you want for breakfast. The girls are going to.” Nic had already made that clear. The thought of breakfast, though, made him thinking about what was going to happen in the morning, the rest of the days they’d be there. There was a lot that was expected of them but what did they even do? Did it matter? “She is forgiving. She… likes you.” As if that hadn’t been obvious with the way she had wanted to shove the two men together for a while. Ever since she had found out and had watched the two men. Circling around each other but never really colliding. Of course, Jon had wanted to and Sebastian hadn’t noticed. If it hadn’t been for the pantry, she probably would have demanded it herself, holding them by the collar. It was an interesting visual, that was for sure. “She was upset I hadn’t done anything about you.” The feelings, not noticing them, leaving himself out.

At the mention of falling more in love with him, Sebastian didn’t say anything because he couldn’t return the feelings. He was infatuated, that was obvious, but it wasn’t the same. Not yet. He had told Jon not to hold back when it came to telling him his feelings and this was why. If he hadn’t, the younger man would have held back, wouldn’t have talked to him like this. It helped to comfort Seb away from his nerves, keep them from popping back up. He was making the right decision. It wasn’t just for Jon but for himself. He had to remind himself of that. There had been so many walls, he’d been blind to anyone having any feelings towards him like this. If it wasn’t Jon, it would have been someone else eventually. It made him wonder how many people over the years he’d ignored like he had with the man in his lap.

There was more talk about movies, but it hadn’t stopped him from kissing Jon. Not this time. That low whimper got to him, got to the wolf in him. There was real passion in this kiss, his own fingers tightening against the other man’s. If they kept doing that, their fingers would eventually break but it was almost a need to be closer. Finally, he pulled away, his eyes still closed for a moment before he leaned back, a little laugh coming from him. The hand cradling Jon’s face went back to gently carressing over his skin, trying to reground himself. “I’m actually pretty tired. If we started a movie, I would fall asleep.” Looking back down, his thumb started carressing across that bottom lip, a more serious look on his face. “The bed looked comfy.”

Jon
Jon grinned at hearing that he could still order whatever he wanted for breakfast. “Then that means I can have maybe two orders of pancakes and fruit, right?” His head tilted a little as he asked the question, his mind thinking about food for a few moments before it clicked in his head that he’d said the girls were going to. “That could be bad, Sebastian. DW may look like she might not eat much, but she can eat more than me at times.” Jon knew that the other may be more aware of that fact since Daphne had been part of the pack since she was born, but he also knew that she didn’t always eat as much as she wanted around the others because she didn’t want them to know how much she could pig out on. His thoughts were filled with the last time time he had seen her do just that before shifting to what the man had just said. “I had a feeling she might like me. Especially when she had given me that place.” His mind thought back to how he had tried to turn it down and how it’d been Daphne tricking him that had ultimately gotten him to accept it. Oh jeez. What if she told the blonde about that? What would he do? He knew he’d be embarrassed, though it wouldn’t be as much of an embarrassment as it’d be if the alpha were to find out. God, he’d been kind of a creeper at that moment and he wanted no one to know about that. It was already bad enough that Daphne had teased him about it while helping him move in to the place.

“She was?” One of his eyebrows raised as his face went blank. He could understand how she might be since Daphne had been with him as well as the alpha for not noticing his looks or stares. Though Jon hadn’t noticed that he’d done them as soon as she had. “Do you think she is still upset with you?” He knew the short haired woman was still kind of with him and he also knew that she had many reasons to be. He’d complained to her, told her things she had hit him for saying, and even lent her lap for him to rest his head on when he had been an emotional drunk at times. As he thought about that, it made him realize that he needed to do something for her. Something to show how much he appreciated what she’d done for him so far. Maybe he could pay for her to have a spa day with the blonde. Yeah, that he knew he could do. Plus it could also be a thank you to the other female for his place.

Pushing those thoughts for him to focus on later when the girls were around them as his thumb rubbed against the man’s bicep again. He knew the other may not respond to hearing him express his feelings, but it didn’t stop him from wondering if he was maybe expressing them too much. Though such wonders didn’t seem to be a matter of focus once the movie talk had stopped and Sebastian was kissing him. The kiss was one with passion, one that made not only his heart race, but caused his wolf to give a faint howl. His hand on the man’s arm tightening as he returned that passion, his lips parting slightly against the other’s seconds before the older wolf had pulled away. A faint groan of a whine coming from him over the fact that the kiss had ended. He hadn’t wanted it to end and part of him wished that it didn’t, though it was hearing the alpha laugh that had ended up getting him to open his eyes. His mind wondering what the laugh was about, which he was about to ask on, but the male’s words stopped him.

His head nodding a little in understanding about falling asleep while watching one since he could feel that he was so relaxed, so comfortable with laying on the man’s lap that he wouldn’t be surprised if sleep happen to take him. Jon was used to late nights because of work, but due to him taking the whole week of his birthday off, which he did every year, his sleep schedule was on the messed up side. “I might too.” His eyes started to close some from the feeling of the caresses on his skin and bottom lip as he spoke. However, his eyes quickly opened and even widened some as a blush came to his cheeks. The nerves he had that had calmed some were now back full force as the man’s words repeated in his mind. His mouth moving slightly as he pressed his lips together before lightly biting a corner of his bottom lip. He knew they were going to end up in that bed together at some point, but he hadn’t expected his nerves to be so high or his heart to race like it was. “Want to go lay down on it?” Blue hues looked at dark ones as he added one word. “Together?”

Sebastian
“You haven't seen an alpha eat before a fight, then.” Carbo loading was somewhat of an understatement when it came to an official match. When Sebastian had officially challenged the last alpha of this pack, he had spent quite a long time getting ready. Years for his skills, at least an hour of fuel building before hand. Shifters could eat large amounts, but born shifters took it to another level sometimes. When they were going to be in a fight, when they were pregnant, after a full moon shift or a regular shift. It was the main reason he had a breakfast after every full moon, so his pack could refuel and replenish. They might eat wild life while in animal form, but most of the time, it wasn't enough. The food bill every month could make a normal human go pale. Especially since the bill for certain things had gone up.

“I think she is starting to forgive me. Between us, I think she likes you more than me sometimes.” It was part of why she had been so mad at him for not taking Jon up on anything. Sebastian, though, had been straight before. Now, he was definitely not sure about that but it didn't matter of things worked out. If he and Jon officially became a couple, he wouldn't care that the other was a man. Straight flexible? He'd have to think about that at some point, or not at all. Maybe it didn't matter. No, it really didn't. “She was hoping that if you lived on your own, I would go visit you, I think. She was under the impression we had been lovers before she got here and I had spurned you for her and the pack at first.” she had even said as much earlier tonight.

There was that little noise again, the noise of prey to a predator. It made the wolf in him want to pant, even if the human could keep it together. “I was hoping you wouldn't mind joining me.” Leaning down again, he left another light kiss on Jon’s mouth, making his own low noise when he pulled away. They wouldn't be doing anything further than kissing that night but he wanted the other to know he appreciated everything. Every little noise, the adorable blushes. This man was making him question everything he thought was set in stone before. “Come to bed with me, Jonathan.”

Jon
“Nope, I don’t think so.” At least he wasn’t going to let his mind think about if he had or not. Especially since not thinking on it meant he didn’t have to think about things involving Russia. Which was something his mind had been trying to avoid thinking too much on the whole day. “It’s because of my blue eyes. According to Daphne they suck people in easily.” He smiled at the other male as his mind thought about winking at the alpha for a moment, but stopped himself from doing so since it was different with the male. His blue eyes hadn’t sucked the man in, in fact, they had been, as Daphne once said, in a sense ignored. Jon’s smile faded some as he spoke his next words. “She told me before I moved here that I’d one day meet someone that didn’t get sucked in by my blue eyes so easily. When she said that to me, I honestly thought it was a joke and wouldn’t happen. But then,” He paused as his eyes glanced at their interlaced fingers. “Then I met you and no matter how or when I looked at you, you didn’t get sucked in.” He looked back at the alpha. “It annoyed DW that you didn’t notice me looking or staring, but I told her not to say anything to you. That I should be the one to say something. Then the sunglasses started happening and I hid my eyes from you so you didn’t see the looks and so they didn’t suck you in.”

Blue hues looked at dark ones. “Sorry, I’m being all emotion talky.” He half smiled at the man as his mind told him to stop talking about feelings and emotions as he listened to Sebastian’s next words. His eyes widening a little. “Wait, that could mean she noticed before even I got suspicious that she might know about my feelings.” Groaning a little as he tipped his head back some, his eyes closing for a brief moment as he heard his wolf call him an idiot before he opened his eyes and looked at the man. “I guess I failed at hiding more than I first realized.” He gave a nervous laugh as his cheeks darkened some. He knew that Daphne knew and that Max had figured it out, heck even Bren had. Who else had noticed before he’d started wearing the shades to hide his eyes? How many others were suspicious of the looks he’d given the other man? He knew there were rumors about him and Daphne maybe being something more than friends, though he only knew about those rumors because drunk wolves talk just like drunk humans do. Plus one member had visited him at work and flat out asked him about such rumors. But was there a chance those rumors could have been ignored because of the looks he gave? He wasn’t sure, though, like other things, he figured he could think on that later.

“You could… come visit me.” His eyes looked at the other man’s, his face serious even though the blush darkened slightly when he thought of the other man visiting his place. He knew if things went well this weekend, if the man wanted to continue with him after this, then there was a chance that visits to his place would happen. Just the thought of the male being there to spend time with him, to have a meal with only him made his heart race as he smiled some. “You could visit me at work too. That is, if you want to.” His smile widened slightly as his mind thought about the possibility of the man also visiting him at work, at seeing how he is in a club environment. Jon knew there wasn’t much of a difference between it and how he was when he tended bar at pack parties, but the thought of the man visiting him at work still caused him to feel some joy inside of him. And it was that joy that seemed to rise when he heard Sebastian say that he was hoping the younger wolf wouldn’t mind joining him. Mind? Why would he mind when it was something he knew he wanted to do? Something that he had even packed extra clothes for to sleep in incase the other wasn’t all that alright with him sleeping either way that he normally did.

His eyes closed for the light kiss, a sound similar to the other ones he had made almost came from him, but was halted when he heard Sebastian make a noise. His eyes looking at the man as his hand let go of the man’s arm before he started to roll himself towards the other and then to his stomach. His mind telling him to focus on getting up and only on that at that moment as his hand that had once been on the man’s arm was used to help himself get up so that he went to his knees next to the other wolf. The blush darkening some more as he leaned towards the male and placed a kiss on Sebastian’s lips, lingering there for a moment before pulling away. “Take me to bed with you, Sebastian.” Blue hues stared at dark ones as he spoke the man’s name in that soft tone with a hint of want like he had some minutes ago.

Sebastian
“I do not think me visiting you at work should be done by myself.” Him going to the club by himself wasn’t the best of ideas but if he took Nic, and maybe Meztli and Bren? Max and his mystery woman. Daphne. There would always have to be an entourage. A group if they were seen in public. The very idea almost hurt his heart, almost drug him down, but he ignored it. They could figure it out. If he could hold it together with Nic, he could do this, too. His mate understood and so would Jon. Hopefully. “Your home, though, is doable.” He did it all the time - meeting his pack members at their homes for a visit. They weren’t random visits and he enjoyed the time greatly. He liked to keep in touch with the wolves but they weren’t the only ones he met with. The other carnivore shifters kept in touch with him as well. It was his job as their council member. If he were to visit Jon every once in awhile, they would think it just that - him visiting one of his pack members. One that was best friends with both his son and their omega.

Letting go of Jon’s hand, he let the other wolf roll and wasn’t even a little bothered by the fact that he was face down towards his lap for a moment. Surprise blossomed through Sebby as the other man leaned in and kissed him instead, the emotion quickly making a small smile take over his face. There was no end to the new experiences tonight, it seemed. Did he get sucked into those blue eyes? Right now, he was. He wanted to drown in them, but he wasn’t going to say it out loud. He was going to pretend the opposite. Jon’s eyes seemed to often get him into trouble, and out of it, but Sebastian wasn’t fully immune. Everything together, he wasn’t sure if he was strong enough to pretend for long.

“Come to bed, Jonathan..” He stood, leaning down to capture one more kiss as his hand reached for his bag on the other side of Jon, his other hand going to hold that thin face up in the right angle. “You don’t mind me changing into my pajamas first, do you?” Pulling away, he licked over his bottom lip before slowly going for the bedroom, face serious as his fingers undid the top button of his shirt. The one top one that wasn’t done, anyway. Seb rarely had his shirts buttoned up all the way unless he was doing something that called for it. “I hope you don’t mind me only wearing boxers in bed. Can’t sleep otherwise.”

Jon
He smiled at hearing that the man visiting his place was doable, though he did feel some sadness hit him with the thought that the other didn’t think he should visit Jon at work by himself. However, even though he felt some sadness about it, he knew that he could understand as to why Sebastian wouldn’t be able to. His mind had already wondered while he had packed earlier that night for the weekend and he had figured that they would have to hide, would have to stay secret if they did continue after this little getaway. Did the idea of them not being able to be public hurt his heart some? Yes, but part of him could understand why it would need to be that way. Especially with knowing about what he had learned about earlier that day.

His hand being let go was something that he didn’t want to happen, but their fingers not being intertwined helped make it easier for him to get up. A thought about how the man looked with that smile came to his mind after he had kissed Sebastian. His own smile widening some as his head nodded a little at the man’s words. His eyes watching the man stand before capturing a kiss himself. The feeling of that hand on Jon’s face causing him to focus even more than he already was on the other male. “No, I don’t since I’ll need to change into mine.” His eyes watched the man lick that lip before shifting to seeing the other undo a button. Swallowing seconds before he bit his bottom lip as his eyes went to the older wolf’s face. His heart racing some at hearing the man’s words about how he’d be sleeping as the blush on his face manage to darken more. He released his bottom lip as he stood. “I don’t mind.” He moved to get his own bag before following the other male into the bedroom. “Do you mind if I sleep the same way?” Jon knew how he liked to sleep, but he also knew that if he needed to then he could sleep in more than just his boxers.

Day Two~Morning

[flower: Poppy - Restful sleep and recovery/Extravagance and luxury]
Jon
Jonathan woke the next morning a little, okay possibly a lot, earlier than he normally would have, but it didn’t surprise him. Not with how messed up his sleep schedule had already become. However, he knew that was something he could focus on fixing before he had to be back at work. Rubbing his face a little before looking next to him to see if the other male was awake or not. He had figured that if Sebastian was still asleep then he could go back to sleep, but his eyes were met with seeing the bed empty next to him. His mind wondering where the other might be as he sat up some, a thought of maybe the man not being there at all crossed his mind before his wolf squashed it and told him to listen. His body tensing some as he focused on listening, his ears soon picking up the sound of the shower. A small smile came to his lips as his body relaxed before he moved so that he was leaning against the back of the bed frame.

Part of him was still in shock that yesterday had happened, that the other male had heard the truth from him. That they had been able to hug one another, to hold hands. That he had gotten to lay in the alpha’s lap and that they had gotten to share a kiss, well more than one kiss. A faint blush came to his face as last night flashed in his mind before he thought about how he might be acting like a person who was in love for the first time. He knew this wasn’t his first time feeling such feelings, but in some ways it felt like it was. A small groan came from him as one of his hands covered his face. Why was it that he was able to get embarrassed as easily as he was? Why was he blushing over remembering kissing the other male like they had? He wasn’t sure, but he had a feeling that it didn’t happen to his brother. Though maybe that was because Elijah hadn’t hidden his feelings for his wife like Jon had hidden his for the alpha.

His hand moved from his face to his chest as he looked towards the bathroom. His mind was starting to wonder how long the male had been up when something hit him. He had to pee. Crap. He got up from the bed before going over to the bathroom door, his hand stopping mere seconds before it went to the doorknob. He couldn’t go in there, could he? No. Maybe if they had done more than just kiss last night then he could of, but since they didn’t then he figured he’d have to wait. Could he wait though? He wasn’t even sure how long the other male had been in there so how the heck was he supposed to know if he could actually wait or not? That was when he remembered the half bathroom. He sighed before quickly going to where it was, his mind thanking his memory for stopping any kind of embarrassment or something that may not have been alright yet from happening as he closed the small bathroom door.

Sebastian
Sebastian had woken up with his hand under Jon’s pillow. It hadn’t been as weird to fall asleep with him in the same bed as he had thought it would be and here he was, wanting to cuddle him. Somehow, Jon looked more… something while he was sleeping. Innocent, maybe. A lot of people were like that. Because he wasn’t awake, wasn’t looking back at him, the alpha was better able to look at him. Take in his face. While bitten wolves didn’t age as slowly as the born ones did, they lived almost as long. He wondered who would outlive who. With his status, Seb was only one wrong move away from losing it all. Could Jon handle that? He knew Nic could. Max and Bren… well, they were a worry. Both were innocent in their own way.

Frowning, he carefully pulled his hand out from underneath his companion, pulling out of the bed altogether to get up for a shower. There had been no lack of warmth last night. Depending on the animal, shifters could run hotter or colder and with wolves, it was usually hotter than normal. It was more than comfortable to share his bed with another wolf, and for the last few months, that had been strictly Nic. With Jon, there had been less cuddling but just putting his arm under the other man’s pillow had been enough. He hadn’t wanted to crowd them together just yet, was nervous about that, especially since neither of them had been wearing much clothing. They hadn’t been wearing anything but boxers. He still wasn’t sure what to do with that information.

The shower had been hot, too, but when he went back into the bedroom, he noticed that Jon was gone. Frown creasing over his lips, he sat on the bed, towel wrapped around his waist, and picked up the phone to call for room service. If anything, the other wolf must have either gone to the bathroom in the little one off the front hallway, or he’d gone to see the girls. But why would he do that? “Yes, I’d like to order three orders of pancakes, two of fruit and three each of sausage and bacon.” There wasn’t any time for chitchat, and he ignored the tone in the woman’s voice as she questioned why three if there were only two people in the room. She didn’t actually say it but the thought was there.

Once he hung up, he called out into the suite, not getting off of the bed. His hair was slicked back with water, his bag sitting next to the bed where he’d left it. “Jonathan?”

Jon
After he was done and his hands were washed, he stared at himself in the mirror for a bit. Blue hues looking himself over as his mind thought about last night, about how it had been to fall asleep next to the other man. Jon was used to sleeping alone more often than sharing a bed with either a random stranger or when Daphne had visited him back when he lived in New York. Back when he lived in a few different cities actually. But those nights were different from last night. How long had it been since he last slept next to someone he felt love similar to what he felt for the alpha? He knew how long it’d been, knew that it had been before he’d been bitten. Claire. She had been the one who he had felt love for, but nothing came to happen between them. Not like how some back then had thought anyway. Maybe that was why he had made sure it was her children that were taught so they could help keep the Bishop family candy shop going. A shop that to this day, Jon had made sure it stayed his, made sure that it didn’t close. It was something he knew he’d continue to do until either his brother asked for it or he was close to death. When death would happen for him though was something he didn’t know. Nor did he want to think about it. Especially not when his thoughts could be focused on someone who had already gotten him to blush this morning even though they were not next to him at the moment it happened.

As he left the half bathroom and started walking back towards the bedroom, he heard the man’s voice. His steps slowing as he listened to Sebastian’s words. The male was ordering breakfast, which had caused his stomach to make a small noise. One of his hands going to touch his abdomen as he stopped just two steps from the doorway. His mind wondering how the other might look once he saw him as well as how dressed he might be. Jon knew there was a chance that Sebastian could be either fully dressed or half dressed, which he figured he could handle. He was able to handle not pressing against the other last night in the bed, though he wasn’t sure if that hadn’t happened after he had fallen asleep. Oh jeez. What if the male had woken up to him trying to cuddle or even cuddling the man? Was he a cuddler? He couldn’t actually recall. What if he wasn’t and the other man was? What would he do? His mind raced for a moment before he figured that he had to be some level of a cuddler since he tended to wake up cuddling a pillow some nights.

Sighing lightly before a smile came to his lips as he felt some relief come over him. He wasn’t sure why he’d felt that, but he guessed that he could think on it later since it was the man calling his name that was pulling his attention at that moment. Stepping into the bedroom doorway, his eyes going to the other wolf as he looked the man over. His hand on his abdomen pressed into it as he took in the fact that the man was sitting on the bed with what he assumed was just a towel around him. Swallowing lightly as Jon moved toward the alpha, his mind telling him to not think about the man only being in a towel as he smiled. “Morning, Sebastian.” He stopped a couple inches from the older male, a thought of kissing Sebastian coming to his mind as he spoke. “Are you done in there? I should probably shave and brush my teeth.” So I can kiss you without having sleep breath. His mind added words that he didn’t say aloud as his other hand went to touch his face to feel the scruff that was on it.

Sebastian
It was almost cute, Jonathan hiding next to the door like he was. That, in itself, was weird for him. He didn’t normally find people cute. Unless it was Max. Max was adorable in a lot that he did, even as an adult. It didn’t come to his mind that he was still naked under the towel until the younger man came around that corner, swallowing as he saw his alpha. It didn’t make him feel self conscious at all, shifters usually didn’t have that when around other shifters. Or around people in general. He was aware of the effect, though, on the man that was walking towards him, trying to pretend to be collected. If anything, that in itself made him want to smile but he held back, dark eyes watching as Jon stopped only inches away from him, not moving even a little bit. He could reach up, could touch him, but he didn’t.

Not until he talked about shaving. One of his hands went for the one that Jon didn’t touch his face with, tugging down a little. “No.” Tugging again, he made his intention clear, trying to pull him to sit next to him. Or, if he were more collected himself, down onto his lap. It would happen, eventually, but it would be a little slow. Part of him wondered how the other felt about that, Sebby holding back. He needed to. Until he was one hundred percent ready. Then again, when was anything one hundred percent these days? Jon could wait, but it might not be all that long. Not if their natural progression so far showed anything. He’d gone from denying that Jon had feelings, denying that he, himself, had feelings, to agreeing to dating Jon and kissing him, all within a week or two. Most of that was in a single night. “Don’t shave.” Their breakfast would be there soon - he needed to get dressed - but he didn’t want to move away from this.

Jon
Jon knew that he shouldn’t be getting affected like he was about seeing the man sitting there like that since it wasn’t uncommon for shifters to be some level of naked around others. Plus the two had slept in only their boxers last night. However, there he stood with one hand pressing against his stomach as his blue hues looked at the other male. He knew he should look away soon so it hid that he was feeling something inside of himself, but his eyes stayed on the other male. At least they did until he finally managed to glance at his bag sitting on the little couch in front of the bed. He knew that he’d have to grab clothes for the day, though he had a feeling that once they did hear from the girls that Daphne was going to insist on checking out the pools. Especially since it seemed she was more focused on that than anything else. She had even made sure he had packed a few options of his swimwear so that he was prepared for anything. Part of him felt silly for not realizing it sooner that she was more making sure that he’d be able to join her for swimming over actually being prepared. How he hadn’t realized it when packing for the weekend didn’t surprise him though since his mind had still been in shock of what had happened during the party. The party that he now knew had caused more change than just his age to happen. Though just how much some of that change would be was what he figured was still undecided.

His eyes looked back at the male seconds after that first small tug, his lips starting to part so he could respond to the man’s word that he figured was the answer to his question. Though instead of him saying anything, he sat on the bed next to the man who had tugged at his arm again, his mind guessing that was what the other was possibly wanting to happen by tugging at his arm. Jon knew that if he was not being careful like he was and if he knew his face wouldn’t have a bright blush form on it, then he may have tried to sit on the man’s lap. The thought of sitting on it had come to his mind before that moment, it had even briefly come to his mind last night. However, he didn’t act on them, no, he just let his mind wonder how it’d be to sit on the other male’s lap as he sat there next to Sebastian. Blue hues looking at the alpha’s face as his mind hoped no hint of a blush had come to his face while he’d been thinking of sitting on the male’s lap.

When he heard the man tell him not to shave, there was a small bit of confusion that came to his face for a brief moment. He knew the confusion was there because he had thought that maybe the other would rather him be shaved. “If I don’t then it will grow more.” His hand that was still on his face rubbed over the hair there before he pulled it away. “Are you okay with kissing me if there is more?” His eyes glanced at the man’s lips, lingering for a moment as his mind thought about just kissing the man now before his eyes looked at the other’s eyes.

Sebastian
Letting go after Jon sat down, Seb almost smiled, the tilt of his lips not quite there. Sliding an arm behind the other wolf, he leaned over and nuzzled his lips into the side of his face, letting himself know what it felt like. Up and down the jaw line, slowly, then to his ear, to the side of his neck before pulling away. It was obviously a different feeling than it was with Nic, a different one than even last night when he’d pulled Jon close in his sleep and nuzzled him. That, though, was going to stay with the alpha and in his head. This was sharp stubble but something about it was interesting. “Leave it for now.” What would it be like? Everything about this was new but he wanted to experience it all the same.

Going to stand, he leaned down capturing a slow kiss, one hand on Jon’s face and the other on the edge of the towel. “I should get dressed soon. I don’t think the breakfast person would appreciate me answering the door this way.” He could almost hear the protest, but maybe that was because he had some sort vain streak. Not often did it show up about his body, he almost never needed to think about it that much.

Jon
Part of him wished that the other male hadn’t let go of him, a small hint of a pout had even started to slowly form on his lips. However, once he saw the man leaning towards him, the pout had stopped and his mind wondered what the other was about to do. When he felt the beginning of that nuzzle, it caused him to forget about such a wish at that moment as well as caused his body to in a sense freeze for a few seconds. His eyes soon closed some at the feeling of Sebastian moving up and down his jawline before they fully closed seconds after he felt the man move closer to his ear. His lips parting slightly as his head tilted a little once the nuzzling moved to his neck. He could feel things starting to stir inside of him, things that he knew he would have to try his best to ignore until he knew it was fine not to ignore them. Though it was such things that made him know when the other looked at him after pulling away that there would be a faint but noticeable blush on his cheeks.

His eyes opened once the male had not only pulled away, but also spoke to him, his head nodding lightly. “Okay.” Blue hues watched the man start to stand, though it was when Sebastian had leaned down to steal a kiss that his eyes had closed again. The kiss was slow and nice, but a part of him felt it wasn’t enough. He could feel that he was wanting more, wanting longer kisses that were deeper and possibly even lead to them making out. The mere thought and want seemed to cause the blush on his face to darken as his eyes opened to look at the other wolf. A faint sound of what could be possibly seen as protest came quietly from his throat before he could stop it. “I think a lot of people answer the door like that more often than not when it comes to food being delivered to a room.” One of his hands moved to grab the man’s hand that wasn’t holding onto the towel as blue hues looked up at the alpha. “Sebastian...” Jon bit his bottom lip for a short moment before releasing it to continue. “Will you kiss me again?”

Sebastian
The hand holding Jon’s face tightened a little bit as those fingers slid over it, wanting to keep his hold on the younger man’s face. It wasn’t to pull his hand away, but to rather hold on to him. “But I am not ‘a lot of people’.” Extremely true. Sebastian was many things but normal or common wasn’t one of them. Even at his lowest points, he knew that. He’d been made for that, and that alone. So far, he’d done an amazing job at keeping the power he’d been born with and let it grow. If his parents were there now, would they be proud of what he’d accomplished? As long as his pack, his family, was proud of him, he couldn’t care less. Nic, Jon, Bren and Max. His pack, however, was not who he was focused on in that moment. There was a beautiful man asking him for another kiss. More of a kiss.

Using his hold, Sebby pulled his chin up more, leaning down but keeping the distance between their bodies. His hold tight on that towel. When their lips met again, it was more, slow and sweet but deeper. A kiss that even Jon couldn’t complain about not being enough. It went longer than he meant, his body moving so his legs were pressed against the younger man’s. He could press them flat on the bed. It didn’t matter to him that he hadn’t brushed his teeth, hadn’t shaved. Hadn’t showered. Dark eyes were closed as the kiss continued but he let go of Jon’s face, using it to press on his chest, pressing him down into the bed.

The only thing that stopped him from continuing that kiss further was a knock at the door, the alpha pulling away with a small noise. He hadn’t even heard the waiter approach the door. It couldn’t be anything but their breakfast, Nic wouldn’t be up this early if she didn’t have to be. “Jonathan…” Looked like he was going to answer the door in a towel after all. “Stay here. Just like that.”

Jon
“That’s because you’re special.” His head pressed against the alpha’s hand as he spoke those words. He knew his words possibly had a few different meanings to them, but with how he had said them, with how he was meaning them was one more related to how he felt about the older wolf. Blue hues looked up as his lips parted to add please to his question, but his voice was stopped when his chin was pulled up more. Eyes watching Sebastian as the male leaned down. Once their lips met again, his eyes had closed instantly. His hand on the other’s tightening a little before it started to slide up the male’s arm. The things that had stirred inside him some moments ago where now stirring again as the kiss continued. It was a kiss that was more than what he had thought he might receive when he had asked for one. And it was also one that he felt was better than what he could have thought that may receive from the other.

When he felt the other man’s legs press against his own, his legs ended up spreading apart so the alpha could move even closer to him. Jon wanted Sebastian closer, wanted to feel the other wolf against him. That was when a wonder about if he had pressed against the older male while sleeping last night came to his mind as his lips pressed more against Sebastian’s lips. A small sound coming from his throat when he did. His hand had stopped sliding up the other’s arm once it had reached his bicep, fingers wrapping around it once Jon felt that hand leave his face. His mind briefly hoping that the kiss wouldn’t end seconds before he felt the hand press on his chest. His body going down to the bed as his other hand went to the alpha’s chest.

His lips parting against the other’s seconds before he heard the knock. A small groan coming from him when the kiss broke. Jon’s ears hearing the sound the other male had made before he heard his name being said. Eyes opening to reveal his blue hues, hues that he knew probably had a hint of want in them since it was already starting to grow inside of him. He knew that he would have to ignore it at some point so that he didn’t pressure the older wolf, but part of him wasn’t sure just how much of it he’d be able to fully ignore. Especially if more kisses or even deeper ones then the one they just shared happened. Oh crap. What if they ended up making out while he was already feeling like this? Would he be able to ignore the want, the desire that he knew it would fuel? He wasn’t sure since he figured it was something he wouldn’t actually find out until then making out was already happening.

His hand squeezed the male’s bicep as he licked his lips, his head nodding a little as he spoke in a low tone. A tone that ended up causing his blush to darken slightly because of the faint hint of want that was in it. “I won’t move.” His hand on the male’s chest slid to Sebastian’s neck as he placed a quick kiss on the man’s lips before adding. “As long as you hurry back.” He placed another quick kiss on the older wolf’s lips as another knock came to the door.

Night Two

Jon/Daphne
They were on their way back to the rooms after having dinner, Daphne was on Jon’s arm while his eyes watched the mated couple walking in front of them. “Pretty sure you are staring, JB.” She whispered to him as his head turned to look at the woman who had gone with wearing a wig that night. “Pretty sure I’m watching where I’m walking so we don’t run into them.” He whispered back to her before he looked at the couple. “Nope, you were staring.” She smiled slightly as they continued with their whispering. “I’m not staring.” “If you had listened to my words then you would have noticed I said that you were.” He rolled his eyes at her words seconds before her grip on his arm tightened. “Ah DW.” He looked at the older female to see that her eyes were narrowed at him. Sighing lightly as he lowered his voice more. “Alright fine, yes I was staring.” Daphne’s face instantly shifted to a smiling one when she heard him admit it. “See that wasn’t so hard to admit. Now was it?” His eyes rolled at hearing that teasing tone in her voice, his mind hoping that their evening with the girls wouldn’t last much longer so that he didn’t have to hear more of that tone from his best friend. It was already bad enough that she had used it when he had talked with her earlier at one of the pools. Plus she had used it again during dinner. Part of him had a feeling that she was enjoying this getaway more than he had originally thought that she would.

Once inside the room, the blue eyed man turned to look at the other male for a few seconds longer than he maybe should have before looking at all three of them. “Would anyone like a drink?” Daphne’s hands immediately went to her hips. “Oh for hell sakes. Jonathan, did you sneak booze into your bag after I finished helping you pack it?” He smiled at her as one of his hands ran through his hair. “It’s only two, no, three bottles.” “Seriously?” She sighed as she shook her head. “Why do I get the feeling that even if I dared you yesterday to not bring them then you still would have?” He walked over to her and put his hands on her shoulders. “I would have listened to the dare, but I still would have had at least one or two bottles with me.” Daphne’s eyes narrowed as she shoved his hands from her shoulders. “Stop hiding booze in that old blue Jeep of yours.” His arms went to his sides as a small pout formed on his lips, his eyes focused on her. “What did my Jeep ever do to you for you to pick on it so much, Daph?” His tone had a fake hint of sadness to it that he knew she would notice as he pouted a little more. “Oh shut up and just go make me a drink already, you pouting blue eyed fool.” He smiled before placing a quick kiss on her cheek. “You got it, DW.”

Jon started for the bedroom to where his bag was before stopping at the doorway and turning to look at the alpha. “Would you mind helping me grab the bottles, Sebastian?” Eyes focused on the male while he spoke, a thought coming to his mind of how he could maybe hold the older wolf’s hand for a little bit or even steal a kiss if the man did help him.

Seb/Nic
Interesting, really, how far Sebastian had come since yesterday. He had been carefully watching Jon when not paying attention to his mate and their surroundings, making sure nothing was going to come at them. Them vacationing and relaxing would be the perfect time for someone to try something, and the alpha knew that pretty well. He'd seen him interact with the people around him, with Daphne and Nic, and on a much lighter note, him. Of course, Jon had worn sunglasses while they were outside and now that he knew what to look for, he could almost see those blue eyes watching him when he thought the older man wasn't watching. Taking a trick out of the playbook, Seb himself was also wearing sunglasses. He could only wonder if Jonathan was still jealous as the blonde woman sat in his lap, cuddled him or play flirted. He would have to ask later how he felt now that everything had changed.

Walking back to their rooms, the older wolf had gone first and he did his best not to listen to the conversation behind him. At least he tried. It wasn't hard to overhear with how close they were. Maybe if the four of them had been human rather than shifters, he wouldn't have been able to hear them. Something about how his… boyfriend? had been staring at him walking stroked his ego quite a bit. That part, though, he would be keeping under lock and key. Would he be doing the same thing if Jon and Daphne were the ones walking in front if them? Probably… He was sure Nic knew, there was a sly little smile on her face as his dark eyes slid over to her. A very knowing smile.

Once in the main room, the one that Bren had held for the boys, he didn't hide that he was looking. There had to be a bottle of whiskey in the bag that had been brought. It was something he made obvious that he liked. He was caught a bit off guard when Jon asked for his help with the bottles but it only took him a few moments to realize just what it was he was getting at. He wanted privacy after hours of having none. Sebastian himself kind if wanted to continue what had happened this morning, but the girls would have to leave first. He wasn't about to have a rather obvious make out session with them right there in the other room. Without another word, he slid his fingers from Nic’s and kissed her temple before going towards the bedroom, the look on his face changing as he got there. He could have growled lowly, but instead,he moved past the other man and into the bedroom, letting his pinkie catch on Jon’s belt loop, pulling him.

Jon
His eyes watched as he waited for the man to say something or to come over to where he stood. When he saw Sebastian place that kiss on Nic’s temple, he felt that jealousy he’d been having for weeks creep up inside of him. He knew the feeling wasn’t going to easily go away even though he now knew the truth. Part of him felt kind of bad about it. Especially since, because of what he knew, there wasn’t really a reason for him to be jealous. At least that was what Daphne had told him when they were at the pool earlier and she had caught him staring at them when the blonde was sitting on the alpha’s lap and cuddling the man. There was a part of him that wasn’t sure if he could believe that there wasn’t a reason to be since he knew that if things continued between him and the alpha after this little vacation then there would be things that Nic would get to do with him that Jon wouldn’t get to do. Like having a date just the two of them out in public.

When he saw the older male coming towards him, a small smile came to his lips. He figured that even though the man hadn’t said anything that he knew what it was that Jon was getting at by asking for the other’s help. Blue hues stayed on the older male, even when he felt himself get pulled by the hooked finger on one of his belt loops. His body moving easily as he let the male pull him. He could feel the want to touch, to feel the other’s touch, growing inside of him with each step that was taken. Once inside the room, he glanced over his shoulder to see if either one of the girls was watching them before one of his hands grabbed the alpha’s hand that wasn’t hooked to his pants. His fingers curling around that hand as they intertwined with the older wolf’s fingers. A thought about how he hoped their time with the girls would be ending soon came to his mind as his eyes looked at their hands. The touch had barely started, but he already didn’t want it to end. His eyes stared at their hands for a number of seconds before going to look at the older wolf. “Sebastian…” His voice was low and had a faint hint of want in it when he spoke the man’s name.

Sebastian
It was no surprise when Jon grabbed his hand, but instead of holding back the smile that threatened at it, the alpha let it tilt his lips. A genuine look for a man that was so good at hiding everything away. He wondered if his power trickled over his fingertips, reaching out for the man his wolf wanted. Would he feel it? The hand curled in the other man’s belt loop pulled away once he was close, reaching up, fingers running along a jawline that wasn't smooth, to his own request. That had surprised Sebastian, the request to leave the stubble. Honestly, he'd wanted to kiss along it but there was no time, not with the girls in the other room.

Leaning forward, though, Seb teased his lips against Jon’s, that smile never leaving his face as he tightened his fingers. “Where did you hide those bottles?” He had an almost insistent urge to press the younger wolf back, like he had on the bed that morning… damn that breakfast person. His nerves had been ready that morning but now, maybe because of the potential audience, he couldn't do it. They only had a few more moments before either Nic or Daphne came looking for them and making out against a wall wasnt how he wanted to be discovered. “Lets get them and return to the girls.” Before pulling back, he carefully nuzzled his nose in the space below Jon’s ear, dropping his hand.

Jon
Blue hues were on the alpha when his eyes caught the smile, but it was the feeling happening at his fingertips that seemed to get more of his attention than the man’s smile. He couldn’t exactly recall feeling something like this before this moment. Though there was a part of him that had a feeling that it was connected to the power that Sebastian has. Jon knew that alphas were the strongest, that they had power, it was knowing such a fact that he had thought was the reason he his attention had first been pulled to the older wolf. However, it would be later, and after some pointing out to him, that he’d learn that it was more than just the alpha power, the gratitude and respect that he felt towards the other that had been pulling his attention to the other male. His eyes went to look at brown hues as he felt those fingers run along his jaw. A thought coming to his mind about why it was that the other had requested for him to not shave. He knew that it was slightly longer now than it had been this morning, but before that moment this morning, he had figured that the other male would have rather liked if he had no stubble instead of have some. But maybe he had been wrong. Or maybe the man was just simply curious about how it’d feel. He could understand that since at one point in his life he’d had a similar curiosity.

Jon was soon pulled from all thoughts about stubble and curiosities when he felt lips against his own. Blue hues focusing more on the male as his lips parted and a faint blush started on his cheeks. “Can I have a quick kiss before I tell you or before we grab them?” He knew the girls were in the other room and were possibly even trying to spy on the, at least Daphne might try to, which meant that if a kiss did happen then it would have to be quick. Even if there was a part of him that wanted it to be normal or a little longer of one instead of a quick one. And the feeling of the man nuzzling that spot below his ear didn’t help him not want such a kiss more than he already was. Although the feeling of the hand dropping from his face seemed to help lessen it some as well as cause him to tighten his hold on the alpha’s hand that he was still holding. “They’re hidden in my bag.” His voice was just above a whisper and it had a tone to it that one may think he’d already heard the older wolf say no to a kiss.
